Spent my study periods at school playing cards with a kid that grew up in England and has only been in Belgium for 5 years. Excellent.

Also, my host sisters drug me out to this...thing, where we just walked around our tiny village knocking on random people's doors and offering them alcohol. And of course, WE got plenty of alcohol ourselves. So, to cope with my depressed state, they got me drunk. On a school night. Not complaining tonight, probably will be tomorrow.

I learned how to do laundry in Thailand. It's waaaay different than Canada, but it's fine; it cleans my clothes, which is all I care about, haha.

I'm practicing my Thai, which is getting much better. I've almost memorized the alphabet, after which I'll just be reading and writing as much as I can. I miss just sitting down to read a book.
